HALCYON is a collection of poetry and prose by Jason Cerin. The collection was written over the course of Jason’s first year in college at the University of Southern California. He says that he used creative writing as a tool to cope with various life-altering events that took place during this time, such as coming out, experiencing romantic love for the first time, and the untimely death of a family member. He notes "living, loving, and losing" as the central themes of the book. HALCYON was self-published in physical form in 2019. The full poetry collection can be found below. In 2024, Jason plans to release a second collection of poetry to complete the series, entitled EUDAIMONIA.
